For this work I found my line work to be more flowing, and I also noticed that having dark spraypaint lines with light background colors instead of the other way around really makes this work look different. I really enjoy working this way and have started working larger, below are some progress shots of my next work. I decided to work on a set of large curtains, along with using multiple colors of spray paint.

Drawing 3 (Proposal Statement)
Proposal Statement
During the rest of the semester, I
propose the notion of continuing my drawings and investment on my scroll. While
working on this previously assigned project, I really enjoyed recalling old
memories and reliving the joyous and most influential moments in my life. I
really felt like this work is a piece of me, and with the allocated 20 feet of
scroll, that there wasn't enough time, and that I couldn't tell my whole lives
story in that 20 feet. When I was creating this work, I recalled things all the
way up to 2008. But I feel like Its incomplete, I still haven't displayed any
of my present/ College experiences, and my future aspirations.
As for the different types of media, mediums, and
processes, I wish to invest a little more time in the fine details of the
drawings. I worked so hard to draw everything, I wish I could continue working
on the background along with the colors, but I also wish to continue going in the
same direction that I had started previously when creating this work.
When it comes to artists and influences, I feel like this
piece is so personal, that It can't
really reflect anyone else's representation of my own life. This work could be similar to Ancient
Egyptian scrolls like back in the day,
which portrayed the lives of people during their time on earth. Thus when it
actually comes down to artistic abilities I really don't know anyone who has a
similar style, but I feel like I am always creating my style. Therefore I
really wish to continue working on my scroll because it feels incomplete to me
and I really enjoyed this project even though it required so much time.

Drawing 3 (Drawing from Memory)
For the first piece I created this drawing, while reminiscing about the old times back in 08 when i graduated and President Obama was elected.
As for this second piece I created a sand castle from memory, because I always used to make Sand Castles with My dad and brother when I was younger.

Painting 3
Movie Painting- This was the second movie painting. The movie that I watched for this Battle Royal. This was really interesting, I did the background using oil paints, than came in and used Acrylic paints whild watching the movies, that way the colors could dry faster as i applyed them.
Ugly Painting- For this painting it was tough to get the grasp of things at first. I redid this painting because it was also to representational, but for the second piece below I started by layering tape, using Acrylic, along with sand and cigarettes to portray ugly. This was a lot of fun once I opened my mind up and just started creating.

Painting 3
System Painting-
Blue represents Bikes
Red represents Trollys
Green represents Horses
Everytime one was spotted I would take a pingpong ball covered in oil paint and I would let it roll freely for two minuets until I saw another, sometimes there were 3 balls rolling around at the same time. - after 12 hours it didnt look complete, so I added another 3 hours.
Printer Painting-
For this I decided to replicate a Jackson Pollock design while incorperating a few of my own design elements for example, the length of the work, along with the border that i placed around it. The second image is a photo of the back of this work and how I put it together. It was tricky doing everything upside down because you could not see your work as you progressed.

Music Painting-
For this work I decided to start over, due to the fact that my work was to representational. So for this work I went to the bars with some of my friends, I brought a little bit of spray paint, a palet knife, and a fre acrylics. I used Acrylic because I knew it wouldnt be to messy at the bars, and it would dry faster. For this piece, I started by using spray paint to get a basis on the the work, than I went threw and went overtop of it with acrylic, and than again with spray paint in certain places. I really enjoyed this painting.

100 Dash Painting-
For this challenge, I also redid this work. My last work was also to representational of Flagler College, and the colors were from the tube, so I mixed these colors and decided to just start making dashes until I this pattern started to emerge. I really enjoyed creating this piece.

My 4 Individule Works- For these works I started by first covering the canvas with RANDOM sprayed lines which overlaped eachother and created all of these different negative spaces. Than I slowly painted in some of the random negative spaces, while leaving a few still open- As for my color choices, I used cool colors in the negative spaces. I really really like how this work turned out, I will deffinetaly continue experimenting with this style.
Movie Painting- For this work I started It inclass and was uncertain about the process, But after seeing examples of work and hearing your words of wisdom I decided to try another approach to this work. This was also another challenge painting that I struggled with for a little bit, But your recomendation was to redo this piece. Therefore I created another Movie Painting 2.
